ASIAN PEAR
3-in-1 and 4-in-1 Asian Pears
Asian pears are crisp like an apple and juicy like a pear. Our multi-graft trees combine varieties such as Hosui, Shinseiki and 20th Century. Grafted partners pollinate each other on a single trunk.
In our yard: Hosui, Shinko, Shinseiki, Tsu Li, Chojuro, 20th Century, 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 Asian
APPLE
Anna, Golden Dorsett and 4-in-1 Apples
Most apples need cold winters, but low-chill types fruit well in Orange County. Anna and Golden Dorsett are a classic pollination pair. Our 4-in-1 apple puts several varieties on one tree for a small yard.
In our yard: Anna, Golden Dorsett, Fuji, Pink Lady, Pettingill, Winter Banana, 2/3/4-in-1
PLUM
5-in-1 Plum and Santa Rosa
Plums are some of the most dependable stone fruit near the coast. Santa Rosa is the classic tart-sweet red plum. Satsuma has dark red flesh. The 5-in-1 plum gives a long season from one planting hole.
In our yard: Santa Rosa, Santa Rosa Late, Satsuma, Burgundy, Green Gage, Inca, 4-in-1, 5-in-1
WAX JAMBU
Red, Pink and Green Wax Jambu
Wax jambu is a bell-shaped tropical fruit with a crisp, watery bite. It is a favorite fresh snack across Southeast Asia and Taiwan. We stock all three colors.
In our yard: Red, Pink, Green
MANDARIN
Kishu and Tahoe Gold Mandarins
Mandarins stay smaller than oranges and look neat along a fence line. Kishu has tiny, seedless fruit kids love. Tahoe Gold ripens later in the season. Dekopon is the famous sweet Japanese mandarin.
In our yard: Kishu (new), Tahoe Gold, Dekopon, Satsuma, Tango, Golden Nugget, W. Murcott
MULBERRY
Weeping Tea and Pakistan Mulberry
The Weeping Tea mulberry forms a living umbrella that kids can hide under. Pakistan mulberry grows long, sweet fruit up to several inches. Plant away from patios, since ripe berries stain.
In our yard: Weeping Tea, Pakistan, Pakistan White, Persian Black, Persian White, Oscar
